Safe Handling of Diisocyanates – Level 1 and Level 2
This course provides mandatory training in the safe handling of diisocyanates, in accordance with the requirements of the REACH Regulation, Annex XVII, point 74, and the practice of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority.

The course is designed for employees, managers and self-employed persons who work with, or may be exposed to, diisocyanates, including through the use of adhesives, sealants, paints, foams and other polyurethane-based products.

The training covers both basic and advanced levels, and provides participants with a clear and practical understanding of:

what diisocyanates are and where they occur in working life
health risks, including the risk of sensitisation and the development of asthma
how exposure may occur and how it can be prevented
requirements for ventilation, work methods and technical control measures
correct selection and use of personal protective equipment...
