This e-learning course is developed as a theoretical training tool for companies and training providers. The course is structured based on the requirements set out in N301 Work on and near roads, and covers key theoretical topics included in Road Works Safety Course 1.

The course provides participants with a basic theoretical foundation and is intended to be used as part of the company’s overall training program.

The e-learning course may also be used by approved training providers as a supplement to classroom instruction, particularly for participants with reading and writing difficulties. The course allows for repetition, visual support, and learning at an individual pace.

The course is a learning resource and cannot be used alone as documentation of completed training. The employer or training provider is responsible for planning, providing practical training, assessing competence, and documenting completed training.
